Hawzah News Agency- Seyedeh Zohreh Borqei, head of Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary, along with a group of directors, staff, and seminary students of the institution, met with the family of the revered Martyr Ebrahimzadeh Qomi.
During the meeting, Borqei honored the memory of the martyrs and stressed the need for greater engagement with the families of martyrs. She emphasized that keeping the memory of martyrs alive is a duty incumbent upon all, adding: "The families of martyrs are the precious inheritors of the culture and path of the martyrs, and their memory must never fade from the hearts and minds of society."
Referring to the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late secretary-general of Lebanon's Hezbollah, Borqei described him as a figure who transcended the role of a military commander.
"What is most recognized about Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in our minds is his military dimension and his capability in managing and commanding the Resistance Front in Lebanon," she said. "But this martyr was also an outstanding and pious figure in scientific, spiritual, ethical, and ideological dimensions."
She said Nasrallah could be considered a figure who founded a school of thought, noting: "If we examine his life, thoughts, beliefs, behavior, activities, and method of command and management, we see a deep connection between these dimensions. These characteristics show that he was not merely a commander, leader, or fighter, but a figure who established a school."
The head of Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary continued: "Sometimes when we bear heavy responsibilities and workloads, the first thing we remove from our life schedule is study and worship, imagining that because we are busy serving the people, we can set these aside. But the life of Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah shows that study and worship hold an important place alongside social activities and heavy responsibilities."
Borqei, a member of the policymaking council of women's seminaries, also pointed to Nasrallah's guardianship as one of the most prominent dimensions of his personality, stating: "Despite his very high standing among the people of Lebanon, Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah showed special humility and adherence to guardianship before the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and considered obedience to the Guardian Jurist (Wali-e Faqih) his duty."
Martyrdom: A Legacy Inherited by the Martyr's Family
Borqei described martyrdom as a precious legacy for the martyr's family, saying: "Martyrdom is a legacy that the martyr's family inherits, and one of the most important things a martyr leaves behind for his family is the culture and path of martyrdom."
She stressed: "Martyrdom does not only mean presence on the military battlefield. As was mentioned regarding Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, one of the important arenas of struggle is scientific jihad. A person can struggle through their knowledge and learning and walk in the path of the martyrs."
Noting the scientific activities of the sister of Martyr Ebrahimzadeh at Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary, Borqei added: "The presence of the martyr's sister at Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary and her activity in the scientific path is an example of continuing the martyr's path on the front of knowledge. Today, the scientific front is one of the most important arenas of struggle and defense."
Referring to the importance of confronting cognitive warfare, she described the family as one of the most important arenas for transmitting the culture of martyrs, saying: "Alongside knowledge and awareness, the family also plays a very important role. We must familiarize families with the spirit of the martyr and raise children in a way that they feel a connection with the martyrs."
Borqei noted the role of the martyr's parents in raising their son, stating: "Certainly, the martyr's father and mother played a role in raising this son and helping him reach such a station. This shows that the culture of martyrdom takes shape within the family, and its effects remain in subsequent generations."
Martyr Ebrahimzadeh's Sister Recounts the Life and Martyrdom of a Brother Devoted to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT)
The sister of Martyr Hassan Ebrahimzadeh, a student at Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary, shared memories of her brother's childhood, adolescence, military service, and martyrdom. She noted that Martyr Hassan Ebrahimzadeh was born in 1969.
"Coinciding with the beginning of the imposed war, three brothers from our family were deployed to the front during the years of the Sacred Defense. Hassan also enlisted through the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in 1988 for military service and was deployed to the Kurdistan region," she said.
The martyr's sister, noting that Hassan Ebrahimzadeh was highly active in religious activities, said: "At that time, the Zanbilabad neighborhood was just being established, and the neighborhood's Hosseiniyeh had recently been set up. Hassan was actively present in religious gatherings and especially participated in Muharram ceremonies and the mourning rituals of Imam Hussein (PBUH)."
She added: "Interestingly, the day of Hassan's martyrdom coincided with Eid al-Ghadir, but his body arrived in Qom during Muharram, coinciding with the mourning of Imam Hussein (PBUH). Before deployment, he had said, 'I will go and return for Muharram to help you in the mosque and Hosseiniyeh.' But his purified body returned during the mourning days of Imam Hussein (PBUH)."
The martyr's sister, referring to her brother's love and affection for their parents, stated: "Hassan Agha was very humble, loved our parents, and was very compassionate toward them. Despite his young age, he worked alongside my father in the shop and was his companion and colleague."
Mrs. Ebrahimzadeh, referring to the martyrdom of her maternal cousin, Martyr Sayyed Majid Monzavi, said: "Hassan and my cousin were the same age, and his martyrdom had a deep impact on Hassan. After my cousin's martyrdom, Hassan prepared a picture frame and placed his own photo and my cousin's photo on either side of a picture of Imam Khomeini, and kept it."
She also recalled the martyrdom of Hassan's friends during his military service, saying: "Some of Hassan's friends who were with him in the medical unit were deployed for reconnaissance missions and were martyred. Hassan was deeply affected by the martyrdom of his friends."
The sister of Martyr Hassan Ebrahimzadeh concluded by honoring the memory of her martyred brother and stressing the continuation of the path and lifestyle of the martyrs and the transmission of their memories and way of life to future generations.
Martyr Hassan Ebrahimzadeh Qomi was deployed on July 14, 1990 as a soldier of the Islamic homeland for a reconnaissance mission in a mountainous area near Saqqez, where he attained martyrdom at the hands of counter-revolutionary forces. He is laid to rest in the Ali ibn Ja'far (PBUH) Martyrs' Cemetery, Section 18, Row 7, Plot 223.
